Newsweek's Progressive Polls
MSNBC exhibits a liberal bias. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I am certain. While just the other day, CNN strengthened its liberal position by donating money only to left-leaning journalism organizations, today MSNBC is demonstrating that it has no respect for truth. Instead, it only cares to energize its far-left Bush-hating base by publishing misleading polls from Newsweek.

Sun Buys StorageTek
In somewhat of a surprise move yesterday, Sun Microsystems announced its $4.1 billion purchase of StorageTek. Many analysts are scratching their heads trying to determine why Sun would spend more than 40% of its cash on an acquisition that does little to stimulate revenue growth.

Citizens of St. Louis should be aware that the President is paying them a visit today. Traffic will undoubtedly be affected as a result of extra security measures. Plan your travel accordingly.

Long-Shot Conspiracy
As we draw near to the highly anticipated release Microsoft's "Longhorn" operating system, the next version of Windows, people have begun to take an interest in the changes that are being implemented. For most people, this involves identifying snazzy new graphics and naming changes. …and that is unfortunate.

CNN Shakes It to the Left
While I have argued in the past that MSNBC displays a more liberal bias than CNN, it should go without question that all news sources represent some type of bias. Unfortunately, CNN is working to capitalize on this unfortunate phenomenon by working to extend its leftist approach.

The Dutch Say "No."
The constitution presented by the European Union has been rejected by Dutch voters today. So far, the Dutch and the French have been the largest opposition to ratification of the constitution.

Airbus Subsidy Quagmire
As reported by the Seattle Times and the Wall Street Journal yesterday, Airbus has finally chosen a new CEO. Unlike every other chief executive officer of the company, Gustav Humbert, the company’s previous chief operations officer, is German. Historically, the company has always had French leaders. The French are apparently so upset that they are refusing to announce the decision before next week’s French referendum on the European constitution. As you may know by now, the French are not happy about that either.

Progressive Doctors: Incisions Without Scalpels
A University Hospital in Isleworth, West London, has issued a study that calls for banning long, pointy knives in the UK. Oh boy… here we go again…

John Thune's UN Flip-Flop
Mary Clare Jalonick, of the Associated Press, makes it clear today that Republicans can pull their own fish-out-of-water flip-flop moves with the same grace and elegance we saw during Kerry’s attempt on the White House. This time, the stunts are performed by Senator John Thune (R-SD).

More [real] Government Criminals
You may hate the politicians in office, but if you are one of those angry-types who refer to all politicians as criminals, you are wrong. Unless, of course, you are referring to the four state legislators in Tennessee that the FBI just arrested.

Slowdown Machine Attacks John Bolten
Democrats have no problem with the Slowdown strategy I have been blogging about for the past few days. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif) is currently throwing delays on the table as a strategy for stalling the vote on John Bolton who has been nominated as the next U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. It sounds like Howard Dean's "slowdowns work, even when we lose" strategy is rubbing off.

Slowdown Strategy: Politicians Attacking Americans
Earlier, when I wrote about the judicial filibuster, I suggested that the entire "nuclear option" debate accomplished absolutely nothing other than to slow down the entire Senate. Furthermore, I recently stated that the Democratic Party was threatening to stall Senate business if they "lost" the debate. Today, Howard Dean states that he is pleased with this destructive Slowdown Strategy.

Howard Dean: Supporting Racism
The party chairman, Howard Dean, publicly disgraced the Democratic Party today with a statement that should be identified as one of the year's biggest backfires. All Americans are equal, deserve to be equal, and should reject any differentiation in government efforts based upon the color of skin as racist. Wild man, Howard Dean, just stepped in a big pile of you-know-what.

The Votes are In
It was practically yesterday when the Democrats were threatening a partisan filibuster to block a vote on judicial nominees such as Priscilla Richard Owen. In response, the Republicans suggested that they would eliminate the filibuster. Back and forth the situation went until the Democrats gave up and just voted like they are supposed to. And how do you suppose the results ended up?

John Kerry's Incomplete Assignment
No doubt, we all remember John Kerry and his party’s attacks upon Bush’s military record. Perhaps not as well as the infamous Swift Boat attacks on Kerry’s record, but when they received the facts about Bush’s record, the Democrats had to fabricate negative evidence to support their cause. On the flip side, John Kerry never did authorize the release of his military records. Joan Vennochi of the Boston Globe reports today that John Kerry finally got around to signing Form FS 180 – authorizing the release of his military records.

That's Compromise?
The Senate did something interesting today. They reached a compromise. At least, that's what they are calling it. The filibuster lives on, and judges get a vote

MSN's Endless Pursuit of Marriage Destruction
Some people easily forget what marriage is about: support, trust, caring, and a cooperative lifestyle that provides everybody involved with an enhanced sense of self-worth and security. But some people, like Jim Sulski, at MSN continue to promote individual needs over that of the family, even when they are destructive and overwhelmingly selfish. I have no quibble with an individual’s needs, but if you want to put your own needs first, then don’t get married.
