“There were no terrorists in Iraq before the U.S. invasion.”  How many times have you heard that?  For all the loonies who actually believed that terrorists for some reason worked to avoid Saddam, here is a little egg for your face.

Not only were terrorists in Iraq, they were being trained by Saddam.  The Weekly Standard has the full story:

THE FORMER IRAQI REGIME OF Saddam Hussein trained thousands of radical Islamic terrorists from the region at camps in Iraq over the four years immediately preceding the U.S. invasion, according to documents and photographs recovered by the U.S. military in postwar Iraq. The existence and character of these documents has been confirmed to THE WEEKLY STANDARD by eleven U.S. government officials.
