Obama is a liar, plain and simple.  We are not talking about political spin, either.  Obama has a habit of saying whatever people want to hear even if it is a blatant lie. His outright lie regarding public financing for his campaign is especially troubling, because he also will not disclose his funding sources.  In other words, America has no idea who is buying the Junior Senator his new job.  Furthermore, it underscores the contradiction between Obama's big-government approach for the common man, and his secret private services for himself.

Americans love to hate corruption, but when it comes to Obama, don’t just turn a blind eye, they also get angry and refuse to believe that Obama could be anything less than a saint.  Such is the power of hipness and trends in an overly self-absorbed country.  Obama is a fad – dis him, and you are a loser.  Such is the basis for most pro Obama discussions I have been involved in.

Obama will not disclose his campaign’s donors. 

Obama is the first major-party candidate to opt out of public financing for the general elections.  Unfortunately for him, he previously agreed to use public funding.  Why does it matter?

John McCain and Barack Obama both agreed to use public funding to reduce corruption and provide a level playing field for voters.  Obama lied.  Obama went back on his word and became the first major-party candidate to opt out of public financing for the general elections.  So now, Obama has vastly more money than John McCain, who kept his word.  Sadly, Obama will not disclose the sources of his money. 

This is troubling for another reason as well...  Let’s just say you want something.  Or perhaps you want to accomplish something... anything... like, becoming the President of the United States.  Now, the U.S. government puts a service in place to provide you with everything you need to compete on equal footing with your opponents.  Sounds great, right? Sure – but then, why did Obama turn his back on this government service?

Let’s assume that you don’t want to run for President... rather, you want to obtain quality health care.  Or maybe, you want to earn a college degree.  Perhaps you just want to know that the electric will stay on in your neighborhood.  Never fear, Barack Obama has big government plans to provide or regulate these services for you!

But wait...  if Barack Obama doesn’t think that government-run system are right for him, then why does he propose them for you? 

Think about it.   Barack Obama is a liar who withholds information.  This is not positive change.  This is confirmation of corruption.  And his unwillingness to use public services for his own needs shows quite clearly that he is offering Americans far less than the best alternative for their own needs.
